Saturday, 11/17/18: Handy Horsemanship: Trail, Patterns, and Cone Clinic

Western, trail and pleasure riders! This clinic is for you!


Learn to give your horse more impulsion and forward energy!  Make your horse more responsive for a better ride whether you are on the trail, in the ring, at home or at a show. The better and more correctly your horse goes, the more comfortable you will be! 


Heidi will work with every rider to increase hind leg energy through creative use of poles, cones, obstacles and circles. Make your horse comfortable staying on straight lines. Learn how to execute precise patterns and improve your timing of your aids.  


Cost: Private lessons $50, Semi-private $35 (Auditors welcome)

Please join us for a day of fun and learning, all for a great cause!


Mark Leone has over 30 years of experience as a winning international show jumping rider and leading trainer. He was USEF Hunter Seat Medal Finals winner and has ridden on 29 Nations Cups teams and in 10 World Cup Finals. Mark is a New Jersey native, operating his Ri-Arm Farm in Franklin Lakes, NJ.


Small group sessions from 2'6" to 3'6"

Cost: $250 for clinic, $270 for clinic and day stall (Auditors welcome free of charge)

Saturday, 1/12/19: Dressage Clinic/Fix-a-Test

with Melissa Morehouse


Melissa Morehouse, an avid FEI dressage rider, owns and trains at Heart’s Journey Stables in the Lehigh
Valley, where she teaches, trains and sells horses. Melissa competes clients horses and sales horses in
dressage. She is a Level II graduate of the American Riding Association in both dressage and hunt seat
has earned her USDF Bronze, with two scores towards her Silver Medal.

Melissa Morehouse, an avid FEI dressage rider, owns and trains at Heart’s Journey Stables in the Lehigh Valley, where she teaches, trains and sells horses. Melissa competes clients horses and sales horses in dressage. She is a Level II graduate of the American Riding Association in both dressage and hunt seat has earned her USDF Bronze, with two scores towards her Silver Medal.Her B.S. in Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania combined with training in the USDF “L”Dressage Judge training program gives her many students an edge in competition.


Over 35 students have earned year-end awards from Eastern States Dressage and Combined Training Association, and over 15 students have placed in Dressage and Eventing Championships. Four students earned Champion for Eventing and Dressage within ESDCTA and 15 have earned their USEF Varsity Letter. In addition, the last four horses Melissa trained and sold went on to national competition and recognition.


She would not have accomplished all these things without the help of some amazing trainers and coaches. A very special thanks to her current trainers Pierre St. Jacques and JoAnn and Doug Green. In addition, she has had many years guidance from Gabriel Armando and Suzanne Ross-Armando; with which she spent two seasons training and competing in Wellington and horse buying trips in Germany. In addition she has had the guidance of many others, including, Laurie Jolliffe, Peter Hansen, Lendon Gray, Anne Gribbons and Silke Rembacz and Linda Zang.
